Coral Beach – (Video Below)

We got to snorkel at the Coral Beach in Cuba. It is located in Carbonera which is close to Varadero. There were beautiful, bright, multi-coloured corals, fish and other sea creatures in such abundant amounts it was hard to believe it was real.

It’s about a 20-minute swim from shore to the reefs. The closer we got, the more fish would surround us. It was magical, and surreal, almost like a dream. It’s weird that they didn’t fear us. Fish would nibble at jewellery and actually scare those wearing it, ha!

All the sea creatures were curious about our presence, just as we were of this amazing place in the underwater world. Once we all got established, we all swam peacefully with the fish around the reef. We got to experience the real live version of the ‘Finding Nemo’ World.

Most of the little fishy didn’t venture very far from their home after we made our way back to shore. But there were a few that did in fact come right up to shore with us to grant us our farewells.

The whole adventure made everyone so happy and grateful to have done it.

This was part of an excursion that we went on called the “Jeep Safari” and the overall experience was wonderful.
